[JAMAICA] I CANT FND MY FATHER ..... PLEASE HELP
My name is LAWRENCE OLIVER BROWN, I was born in December 1956 in Jamaica.
I am desperately looking for my father VINCENT BROWN whom I believe was also born in Jamaica.
I came to England in 1966 to join my mother ETTA CYRENA LEWIS, born 1st Sept 1930, died 24 April 1993.
My mother married my half brothers father and became ETTA CYRENA GAYLE. She had a brother called Austin who passed away and a sister called Dawn who I think is in Kingston Jamaica, I don't know of her whereabouts, and what my mother knew she died with it.
My grandmother's name was IDA WARD (Etta's mother).
I don't no if Ward was her maiden or marriage name, she came to England and lived with us for a few years before returning to Jamaica where she also later died.
I do not know my fathers D.O.B nor do I know his age, I think he was born roughly around 1925-1940. I believe he may of lived in the St Thomas parish and Finch Street area of Jones Town Jamaica and possibly moved to the U.S.A and had other children.
I, my son and two daughters are the only BROWN family members that exist on my fathers side that I know of, in fact my children and my grandchildren are they only family I have or know of, my family to date consists of 9 people.Three adults and six children.
I do not know anything else about my father apart from his name, nor do I know anything about his side of my family such as Grandparents, Uncles, Aunties, cousins etc.. I'm family less on my side, so are my three children and six grandchildren.
I have been searching for the last 5 years and have not got a single lead.
I don't even know if he is alive.
If anyone knows of or is related to a VINCENT BROWN who dated ETTA CYRENA LEWIS, roughly anytime between 1952-1966 in Jamaica and had a son around 1956, knows of his immediate family or knows of his or any family members whereabouts please email me. firstname.lastname@example.org .
I'm absolutely desperate to find and know my father and possible family.
I have something very important to tell him or them. I'm sorry.
Any additional information or website links that can point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to read and god bless you all.
