Re: [JAMAICA] Stewart
In Response To: [JAMAICA] Stewart ()

I called my Uncle this evening and none of the names you mentioned are familiar to him. I will ask another relative. My great-great grandparents are James R. Stewart (abt 1829 - 1898) and Margaret Stewart (abt. 1843 - 1930). I am told that they had four children: William Stewart, James Stewart, Elizabeth Stewart and Robert Stewart. I know that Elizabeth immigrated to the United States. James was my great-grandfather (Born 1877-d?) and he married Ada Nugent (1879-1978). They died and were buried in Scotts Run in Portland, from my understanding the Stewart in Portland from from St. Thomas. My Uncle gave me some name that are not familiar to me: Eddie Stewart, Randall Stewart and Cecelia Stewart. I know that there is a Rev. Stewart in Knigston that pastors a Pentecostal church on Wideman Street. I don't know his relationship.
