I found an interesting site called "The Caribbean Experience" and hosted by the University of Miami.

Caribbean in this case is mostly about the history of Jamaica, Trinidad and the English speaking countries. Also included is information about Haiti and the Revolution. Most interesing is a section about indentured servants from India. This history presents the reason for the Indian and Chinese presence in the Caribbean and answers why many people from Trinidad and Jamaica can also trace their roots to Asia.

There is also a section on slavery. Enjoy!
