Re: WRINKLE - Death record not found
In Response To: WRINKLE - Death record not found ()
Leah; My gggf, William Barnard Lee died in 1894 in Collingwood (Simcoe County) and though I've found his will, land records and other docs, despite repeated searches, I have yet to find his death record. I don't know why this is and I was just thinking the other day that I'm going to have to go through those LATE REGISTRATIONS one mo' time. If only I could determine where he's buried. One day, I will. I wish I could offer you more information on this topic, but I suspect some deaths simply weren't recorded. His first wife (my gggm) is the same way. I've found her in the 1901 census living with their daughter and even though I have her death date from oral family history, I haven't had much luck with her death record. - Lisa B. Lee
