Hi, Anna. I happened to see your message mentioning Burke County, Georgia. My interest in Burke County is motivated by the history of Millen, Jenkins County, Georgia. One of my grand uncles was actually born in what was then officially Burke County in 1897, and perhaps other ancestors were as well.
