I read the posts but don't see where there is a Wesley in the 2nd post, but did see a West born 1897.
Thanks for the offer! I am looking for info on two seperate slave owners (brothers) who met certain criteria in the 1860 Slave Schedule in Perry County: Charles H. (Hamilton) MOORE and Andrew Barry MOORE. Specifically looking for Silas (1851, Wesley (1849), Millie (1850) and Winnie (1860). Father possibly named Jackson...was listed in the 1866 Black Population of Perry County, but not found in 1870. Jackson may be a naming pattern as Silas's first son was named Jackson and a naming pattern seemed to be strong with this family...therefore hoping I'm right
Charles H. Moore died 1862 Perry County and Gov. A.B. Moore in 1873.
