Didn't see this response until today - duh.

Thompson, Inf of Houst(?) and Thompson, Lou (Oct 22)

I had seen that one some time ago - and put it in a holding folder and forgot about it. Reuben - according to his draft regs - and marriage record was born Nov 1891 - however that doesn't mean Lou couldn't have had another child with Thompson - whoever he was.
In 1900 she is listed with 6 children born - 4 living

Weirdly - she is listed as Ella in her later marriage to George Edmondson - Perhaps her name actually was Louise Ella - or Luella or some version of the mixture. That would be ironic - since my maternal gr grandmother was also a Lue Ella Williams (listed also with 12 different spellings in diff records)

Anyway - I'm going to dig out my old notes and go over them again.
Am looking at her death certificate - states clearly that she was born in Nashville (the the informant was her daughter) and that both her parents were from TN - so I'm going to wade through 1870, and 1880 again.
