My local library have the Nashville City directories from late 1800s, I did not have much time and was very stressed when I wrote this down, there might even be errors, but here is what I found:

1896 Lou Thompson, wid Wesley, h 1110 Porter
1897 Lou Thompson, wid Houston, h 118 S Sumner
1898 Louisa Thompson, wid Patrick, h rear 1209 Alberta Av.
1899 Louisa Thompson, Mrs(c), h rear 1209 Alberta Av.

I did not have time to analyze anything, if there were other Thompsons at the same addresses etc.

In (I think) 1896 and 1897 there was also a Ms. Louisa Thompson that I did not write down.

If you want me to look more let me know, but I don't go that often nowadays, maybe once every three months.

When looking at this and all the other notes and inconsistencies you have in your replies, all I can say is:

WHAT A MESS!
