ADAMS-that is a very difficult name for me, to research and find confirmed info, especially when one of them seemed to marry somebody every 5 years. There was a gruncle named Sam Adams. A cousin let me copy a picture, her father had of Sam, and on the back it said a picture taken in Arkansas. For years I have been googling this name in Mississippi, Arkansas and the USA on Heritagequest, Familysearch.org and Ancestry.com. Nothing. I guess time schedules to open up death records for certain states is opening, because I was sitting up here going through the Ancestry.com pages for a Sam Adams and the names of his brothers and on the 7th page and I have to tell you I don't have the patience to go past five, there was something familiar.

Sam Adams Sr died 1929 Shelby Tn. But what stood out was his father's name DAN. I knew the father was Dan and Mary was the mother. This was my gruncle Sam born in MS.
I do not order death certificates on line. I feel if I have waited this long to find this information, then I can wait for it to come through the postal mail. Didn't have to do it. Ancestry had the ORIGINAL COPY on their site and all I had to do is print it out, which is what I did. I NOW KNOW when and where he died. I've been looking for Adams new information since 2001. I think it's time y'all, to go back in your notes and if you have ancestry, put in every name that you cannot find information for in the search. Something may be new out there.
