Good Morning Art,
Have you explored the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade Database developed by David Eltis at Emory University? I attempted to use the site when it first launched because I had already identified two ancestors who were born in Africa in the mid 18th century. I found the site extremely informative but I quickly realized that I needed to do more extensive research on the families that owned my ancestors and that I had to get DNA testing for myself and various relatives to make better use of the voyages data catalogued at the site. While I await DNA results, it seems as though you already have enough information to yield a good outcome from its use.
