The Color of Water: A Black Man's Tribute to His..
Stumbled on this book on Wikipedia while researching family history.
This is a true story about a bi-racial family with a white Jewish mother who married a black man, and the struggles of the author of the book, James McBride, and finding himself through research and understanding of his family history, especially on his mother's side.
This story relates to my own family history, stories and events are similar. It think it would be a great read, I didn't read the book, but I think I would like to check it out.
