The references that I have made about the 'european colonizer' have not been cited to absolve the leaders of african societies that were complicit in the historical imperialistic conquest of africa by europe, nor is there any intent to infer that african groups have not historically fought amoungst themselves...

I have simply been attempting to connect the dots between what have been (according to historical records) some very successful african societies in the past, and what has been the history of the african-american experience...

while offering, or proposing some reasoning behind this disparity.
