I am researching information on William Giyose or Giose. He was a minister in Texas in the late 1800's and went to South Africa to continue his ministry. I was told that he was a slave and bought his way to freedom. His wife was named Sarah and he had a brother by the name of Simon who the family believed settled in the U.K.
