Yes this is the earliest generation. For the Keelings I believe that Adam Keeling was the slave owner but I am not certain. I have not come across any documents that mentioned slave names. For the Nichols I do not know who the owners were. In the 1850 slave census their is a Giles Y. Nichols listed.
