: names.

: Hope there's some connection.

Hello Vickie
Ah, the infamous Pannell's or is it Pannill or is it Parnell? Depends on who you ask. Well, as for my Pannell's, here's what I got:
Lewis Pannill (notice the "i") maried Eliza Ann Robertson and had 2 children; Lewis Pannill Jr., born 1878 in Pittsylvania County, VA and Amelia Pannill born in 1882, also in Pittsylvania County, VA. She married James Holt in 1899. Lewis Jr. married Dailey Walton in 1903. Somewhere during WWII the "i" changed to an "e". My cousins today are the Pannells. I have looked at the Pittsylvania County records until my head couldn't take it anymore and trust me, there were plenty of Pannills in Pittsylvania County and in Campbell. Not sure of the exact relationship yet but there were tons of them. Hope this info helps. What other names are you researching from that area?
April
