I am interested in talking to any Graddicks. I am a descendent of Andrew Graddick and Martha Sampson Graddick both born in Richland, Columbia SC and settled in the Alachua, Putnam areas of Florida in the mid 1850s. I believe they came to Florida with the White Henry Graddick also from SC. Their dau Georgianna Graddick married a Ben Jones, Martha Graddick married Andrew Gordon, Victoria Graddick married Henry Gaskins; Jane Graddick m. Jasper Johnson; Amanda Graddick m. Moses Lee. Sons include Andrew Graddick Jr., John Graddick and Richard Graddick. A son Townsend Graddick with the family in 1870 later changed his name to Townsend Davis and in 1880 is listed in Georgianna's household as her brother. I belive some of the descendents may have moved out of the area. Louis Graddick settled in Philadelphia.
