My greatgrandmother (Elizabeth Jane Haynes Haynes - later Lewis, b. 1866 in Monroe County, W.V.) was the cousin of Byrd Prillerman. Elizabeth's mother was Martha and she would have been born in 1835/1840. Since the Haynes side is pretty well established I'm assuming that it was Elizabeth's mother, Martha, who was related to the Prillerman's. I have no maiden name for her, (Martha) however. Has anyone done any research on Franklin and Charlotte Prillerman of Franklin County? Did either have a sister named Martha? Or a sib who had a child named Martha? I see that the name Martha shows up in the family, as enslaved by John Prillerman - and the daughter of Charlotte. Does anyone know of the migration patterns into W.V. for the other Prillerman siblings? (Byrd was the youngest of 17 children). Any leads would be appreciated.
