In 1900 and 1910, Everett(e) had a daughter named Mary who was 21 in 1900 and single, 33 in 1910 and single. In 1920, your Mary was married but we didn't see the husband, yet she was enumerated right below Everett.

In 1900, Everett Holloman and the majority of Hollomans lived in St. Johns Township, later moving to Ashokie Twp. In 1910, in the whole county of Hertford, there is only one Ruffin, she is in St. Johns Township and is Henrietta Ruffin, married, bunch of kids, no husband in sight.

What if Mary Ruffin is really Mary Holloman? Where were the kids, you ask? I don't know, because we should have seen Mary, Leatha? and Edgar in 1910. Hanging out with other Holloman relatives?

Anyway, this probably doesn't help but I found it curious.
