alt: I was reviewing my notes from Tony Burrough's presentations' this past Saturday.... the guy is truly amazing in his preparation & presentation.

alt: one main point he kept stressing was that we too often spend too much time 'collecting information' and not enough time analyzing what we've found and putting it into some type of context.

AYWalton: Perhaps the small genealogical audience is being split with the two conferences occurring a month apart. and perhaps travel is an issue. I am not sure if they are really doing a heavy marketing campaign, either.

alt: I read an intersting article on an AA who had traced her female ancestor's back for 10 generations. interesting that the AA lineage only goes back 3-4 generations and then it becomes her "white' family following an interracial marriage.
