Mr. Jones IV no one will nor can respond/answer to your inquiry they way you want; or think one should. If you are outside of the hoop, there's no way you can share the (our) vantage point (from within the hoop.) I agree with Mr. Cornsilk, in that you believe/see black 'Indians' i.e. those inside the hoop as 'just black people'.
I also agree with what Mr. Allen writes, "freedman descendants are not trying to be Indians..."
My opinion is that whether the people are Choc Chic Cher Creek or Seminole with black ancestry or black with the above mentioned five; and are aware, knowledgable or (even) participate in ceremonials et al, are not "just black people" looking to get 'in' but resume (our) a rightful place of inheritance by citizenship within our ancestral indigenous nations.
