My Dearest Preston,
You da man!!
Each of those entries from Jo Ann Curles page are my relatives. I'm not familiar with her page and would appreciate a link. Thank you for the information on Thomas L. Rider. Before today I only knew him as the slaveowner. With this information I am able to get a slight glimmer of him as a person. It's interesting that Thomas was married to Amelia Alberty. Henry Riders' first born daughter Josie married a Josh Alberty.
The information on the Ratcliffes was right on the mark also. Jack Ratcliffe was father to my Rider Boys. If I can find all of Jack's children, maybe I'll discover a Guion Miller Application for one of them and learn the names of Jack's parents.
BTW, Mariah Ross #1080 gives her age as 49 and her parents names as Lige and Lucy Rider. Seems like she would have been on that 1860 slave schedule for the Rider slaves as a 6 or 7 yr.old but the schedule shows only two 6 yr. old males! Since she goes by the name Ross, I'll check the same schedule for slaveowners in the Territory named Ross, maybe she'll be there.
Thanks for bringing me new ancestors!
