My line starts in the Cherokee Lower Towns the Pendleton District S.C. Edward Wilkerson was the agent to the Cherokee at Keeowee he was married to Mollie Wolfe they had three sons and a daughter, i descend from the daughter Elizabeth Wilkerson married Thomas Jones.
Thomas Jones died when on a visit in the Chickasaw Nation,Elizabeth Wilkerson Jones is on the 1817 Emigration Roll along with four of her sons they emigrated from Nick-A-Jack Marion Co. Tenn.
My connection to Shoe Boots and Doll if there is one would be in I.T. with this William Childers marrying Maria Boots a daughter of Polly Boots who is a daughter of Shoe Boots and Doll.
My ggrandmother to bad she does not say the first name of the Childers lady that raised her after her mother died would be the connection. Anyway if i figure it out i will post it the dates are there and in the same area it as been along journey so far but i have perserved so i know it,s just a matter of time and the indian don't live on that can of time that is why they have perserved.
