While this is a desperate attempt to purge anything black from their citizenry, it will never purge the African from Cherokee history.
Maybe the expulsion of people who ate, slept, spoke and were enslaved by Cherokee, will provoke more sympathy from black-hating white sympathizers, but the purity of their OWN blood might be up for scrutiny----as it has been shown that the holy blood quantum of some of the loudest voices against the Freedmen is basically white.
When the scruitiny of tribal leaders who are 255/256 white are exposed, could the validity of the existence of this so-called nation be in jeopardy? Is the CNO really a nation? Nations do not expel people who do not match the aesthetics of the leaders. Could this act of racial purging, bring about the complete scruitiny that the tribe might want to avoid?
One might be watching the beginning of the end of what they cling to.
How amazing that the so called nation can court the United States government that supports them with a $300 million "benefit" (a word they use against the Freedmen) and the same government, to whom they grovel (lobby) for funds has not purged THEM although their droplet of Cherokee blood does not that does not match that of the ruling class nor the majority population.
It is an odd phenomenom to observe.
