Re: Generalizations vs Facts/Ezekiel ANDERSON/COLE
In Response To: Re: Generalizations vs Facts ()
The 1840 census data supports the idea that Ezekiel arrived in Michigan after 1840.
Items 2, 3, and 4 are still unsupported.
Allen---Census data supports a migration from South Carolina to Illinois. So the massacre, raid, or war had to have occurred in South Carolina. If the Virginia-Tennessee data is accurate it further confirms-----South to North. (His birth place always listed as South Carolina).
In 1810 he is known as ANDERSON and in 1814 he is known as COLE and back to ANDERSON by 1820? What documentation supports that conclusion? Are there two Ezekiels, maybe?
Depending on what birth date you use, Ezekiel COLE was 26 or 23 when discharged from the Tennessee Militia.
