Newspaper ad for probate (part 2)
Sometimes the newspaper ads seem to be direct copies from the last inventory (or the petition to the court for permission to sell). But sometimes the newspaper ads appear to have been composed without reference to other lists, and may include ages, alternate names, family relationships, trades and skils that are not in the court records. Pay close attention to the order in which people are listed for clues to ages and family groupings.
