Anna SMALLEY--abt. 1856 to 09 June 1904

Seeking information about Anna E. SMALLEY who was born about 1856. Death certificate states Alabama as a place of birth for Anna; I've also seen Tennessee and Georgia (census information for her and about her) and died 09 June 1904 in Everett, Snohomish County, Washington.

She was married to Jesse DONALDSON on 01 August 1875 in Dade County, Georgia—ceremony done by Elder Ruben REID (all this is according to information found in Jesse’s application for Pension in his CW file). The record, according to Jesse would exist in Trenton, Georgia.

With Jesse, she had the following children: Hattie, Jeneral, Thad, Mary, Lizzie, George and Willie (William).

Her death certificate only reveals what is mentioned above. It only states her age, doesn’t list month, year or date of birth, no information about her parents….

I am hoping that someone may have information about Anna and her life prior to marrying Jesse (parents, siblings, any prior children et cetera). I am planning a hunt for an obit, if one was written, and will also try with the cemetery where she is buried, to find out if they have any records they might share.

Interesting to me is that she passed away in Snohomish County, Washington when she and her family had lived their lives in Eastern Washington (Kittitas and Yakima Counties). Still not certain who was living in Snohomish County at 3127 McDougal (Jesse also provided this as his address to the undertaker) they’d only been there four months according to the death certificate.

Any thoughts/help will be appreciated.
