I am doing research on the Fye family. I have been able to trace back to the late 1700's. There are some gaps that I have not been able to fill. We are looking for information on Jacko, Ebo, and Serbo Fye. These were Africans that were brought here as slaves in the late 1700's. My grandfather Seabron Fye was born in Jefferson County, GA in 1825. We believe that Seabron's father was one of the three from Africa. Vulcan Fye was born in 1848, but I do not know how he was related to my grandfather. I could not find any info on Vulcan or Vergon. Vergon Fye was one of the founders of Blount's Chapel Baptist Church in Vidette, GA. The Church was founded in 1867. Most of them lived in Jefferson County, GA, near a town called Louisville. Any information that you may have to share will be greatly appreciated. I was not able to find them in the 1870 census. Thanks.
