THANKS soooooooooooo much!
I have Selina's death certificate and her name is spelled "Selina" and that is on her headstone at Evergreen, in Los Angeles. She passed in 1920. But, you know back in the day their spelling may not have been accurate. It list her mother as Mary Moore and father as Sylveester Moore. Yes, her mothers madien name was Rogers, so now I am on a quest for Sylvester Moore. Lol, lol, lol
You are right about Lizzy being the youngest child, and her birthday seems right, We do not know of a son names "Ernest" and him being 8 years old. We know of Irving who was born in 1989, and Frank who was born in 1900, and another son named William.Mary, Viola, and Elizabeth (Lizzy) were the only daughters.
Yes! it is my Frank Stafford. He was known as the black sheep of the fmily and it was rumored that Frank Stafford Sr. (his father) was a whiskey runner in Louisiana and was ambushed and killed. As you mentioned it had to be between 1907 and 1910.Ironic that both of them was murdered. Frank Stafford (his son) was murdered in Los Angeles in 1954.
I do not know where to look aat the 1800, 1900, 1910 census in Louisiana. Nothing seems clear, unless I am not looking at the correct information.
Thank you so much for you time and trouble in sending this info to us. It is appreciated deeply.
