Re: MARY CRAWFORD OF ABBEVILLE SC
In Response To: MARY CRAWFORD OF ABBEVILLE SC ()
Hey Charlie I am not really researching Crawford however it is the Abbeville, S.C. part that I am concerned about. You see my grandfather Joe Evans born in 1867 and died in 1914, and his wife, Mary Vance, who was born in 1877, both were born in Abbeville. Joe was born to a William Evans, and Mary to a Frank Vance. Frank Vance my great grandfather died in 1918; he was in his late 80s, and he too was a resident of Abbeville, S.C. So far I have not had any good luck or any good connections with any of the Evans nor of the Vance families of Abbeville. By the way Joe and Mary Evans had three children: John Evans, my fther who was born in 1896 and died in 1962; Ike Evans born 1898 died 1999; and Jessie born 1900, but whose death is unknown. Funny though, there just may be a Crawford. Good luck. Joseph
