Hot bacon & grits in thre morning!

Thank you so very much. I just called another Cousin in the family who is in her 80's and she screamed when I read the names of the children in 1880! "YES, yes, chile' you sho' nuff found Papa!"

Now I'm off to call some more to see if we can't shake out more names for their children. Best news I've had all week.

I see that in the 1880 Census Jeff's parents are recorded as having been from MS but, in the other later census' they are state as having been born simply in the USA. Wonder if Jeff's memory had failed or if the enumerator simply put USA?
