Horace Lynch, one of the oldest colored citizens of the place, died yesterday afternon at 5 o'clock, aged 62 years. Deceased belonged to the Lowery family and was well thought of by black and white. He had been a member of the Methodist church for 30 years. His funeral will be conducted from Grace church this afternoon at 3 o'clock. Deceased was the father of Mary Lynch, formerly a teacher in the colored graded school.
