Thank you so very much. It says Williamey 54? His daughter Willie Mae was born in 1914 and my mother Helen was born in 1918.Willie James, my grandfather died in 1927. Thats what the death certificate says. My great grandfather William Clemons died in 1912.My grandmother Matilda died in 1934.

I don't know why her other children weren't in the census. Maybe in 1930 she was going by the name of Matilda Wallace. Thats when she was married to a James Wallace and had other children Odessa born in 1929, and James born (unk), and Evelyn born 1934.

I have been researching this many years and still don't have it straight.Matilda gave her daughter Evelyn to a lady named Mrs. Fentress because she had tb and couldnt care for her. My mother didn't talk about Mr. Wallace , but I think he came from Morrilton, Conway County, Arkansas.
