My g grandmother was BETTIE MATTHEWS from Port Royal in Caroline Co. VA. Her mother was SUSAN and her older sister was ELIZA.

They all moved to Baltimore around 1876 and stayed there. I never knew my great grandmother and my mother didn't either so we don't have any family history.

There were several Taliaferro's living with/around my family.

EMILY TALIAFERO,born in 1860 appears with William MATTHEWS in the 1870 Census.
