Thanks for the info, obit said she was 73 when she died and your right in 1980.
Children were listed as six sons: Andrew J, Johnny, Douglas L, Eddie J, all of birmingham. Melvin Jr. og El Paso TX, and Robert C of Omaha Nebraska.
two daughters: Mrs. Anna J Smith of birmingham, and Mrs. Mable Brye of Omaha Newbraska.
three brothers: Johnny Cummings or birmingham, Tom Cummings of Detroit Michigan, and Jimmie L Cummings of Atlanta GA.
A sister: Mrs Velera Cummings of California.

If you could find out who all are deceased and when, and also what street was the 1930 census listed on and if the Sturdivant family was listed on same street and who lived at that residence of the Sturdivant's.
