Guess what?

Today I looked very carefully at the Census record and saw this "C" in the Race column.

She was listed as "CHINESE" and the only way that her name came up is that I did a search for ALL RACES.

Her name was CHINN, she was mulatto and they just put CHINESE.

Lesson for us to learn from that one.
