I have done a lot of research on Nappers in Va. Most Nappers came from Nelson County or the Henry District of Hanover County. I traced my ancestors back to 1805-1810 Benjamin Napper of Hanover County. Benjamin had three brothers. I have put togeter the lineage of two of the brothers. The oldest living ancestors, my sister and a 91 year old still live in va. the 91 year old attends the church she attended as a child. If you have access to Ancestry.com, you can trace the Nelson County Nappers. It appeared all of these nappers may have come from either Charles or Thomas Napper, both free in 1750.
