I never thougt that malinda was born a marsalis, i should say i did for about 3day when i couldn't find her in 1870 census, so i search all of Mississippi using the original census records, couldn't find her.
but i did find malinda brown age 12 living in the household of Nelson Marsalis, and a lady whom i believe to be her mother harriet brown, and
Agnes Brown 18 she mite be a sister. but i had to first prove harriet
to be nelson's daugter, then i can say malinda brown is malinda Marsalis.

i then kept searching i found malinda causey, nothing fit so i kept searching, i ran into a few more malinda but i kept comming back to malinda brown. then in the census of 1910 estella Brown shows up married to RAS (Malinda's son) and if i remember rite malinda shows up around the same time! that's why i like the malinda brown theory, but its just that a theory until i can prove it!

can you help me do that?
