Re: [MEDIA & Such] NO COMMENTS ON THIS WAR ON IRAQ

Joseph,

Unfortunately, there is little that can be said. I discuss this issue with my mother every night. Even my 14 year old is savvy enough to know what's really going on. I'm just glad that he isn't old enough to go, and if he was, I would send him to South America so that he couldn't. I just don't believe that we have to have wars. Yes, I know what the bible says, but war kills. The one thing that I'm surprised at again, is that if he doesn't know, it--he should, Colin Powell was hung out to dry. They were going to have this war no matter what. He was used, and I guess he let himself be used. I don't hold him in as high regard as I did prior to all of this happening. I pray for our soldiers too. But it should mean that your are anti-semtic or unpatriotic if you voice your opinion. Debate is healthy!

I also discussed the Iran-Contra thing with my son to give him so background. I hope someone finds out where this $80 BN is going to be spent and with whom? Wink, Wink :)

: Joseph,

: I personally have heard so much. No matter where you turn you hear
: nothing but war. I have to spend time explaining to my 11 year
: old what this potential war is all about. Most of it, I don't
: even understand myself.

: So, my major focus now is praying for my deployed baby brother, his
: left behind family and my soon to be deployed nephew and all the
: other soliders over there in unknown regions to their families.
: My prayers extend out to our government and leaders also.

: So, right now, that's all the comments I have.

: Pray for peace and love

: Regina
