[History] Carrolton, GA - Wooten Family Graves Found?

On todays news - Channel 46 Atlanta - There was mention of graves that were accidentially uncovered in the yard of a homeowner. Needless to say, the homeowner was not to thrilled to know that his home was sitting on a graveyard. It is believed that these graves have been in this location for at least 130 years. It is also believed that the some of the graves may be those of members of the WOOTEN Family. Because of the description that they gave of the coffins (very fancy and ornate), I tend to believe that they did not belong to slaves. However, that does not mean that these people were not related to both Caucasian and African American individuals. If the location, Carrolton, GA sounds familiar in your research and you are researching the WOOTEN FAMILY, you may want to contact the news station for more information. I did go to their web site and found no information there about the broadcast. Hopefully, this will be of assistance to someone.
