We have among the Black colleges those colleges that folks talk very little of if I may be so bold: such as Barber-Scotia in Concord, North Carolina, Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland, or Livingstone College in Salisbury, North Carolina, then of course I am only naming those because I have through family some connecting ties. Anyway, looking back on the very beginnings of those three colleges I see a lot of good history coming out of it, and looking back I know that those three colleges did produce not only the best teachers, but folks in other areas. Would at this time like to really show our younger people, our newer generation of people, that many of these Black colleges were indeed the backbone to our African American heritage, sought of in the same field as the Black Churches. Education means a lot. Next to education is information and information is power. Joseph
