Potter, I tried to see the C-SPAN on the Black Farmers, because I really didn't know that they had Black Farmers today. Ignorant, I guess, I just thought the planting that I know is done was for fun and to preserve, etc. My step-dad and others since I have been visiting the South, had such beautiful gardens, and the produce was so great and for some reason quick to cook and had a different flavor. The tomatoes sweet, the greens if not watch were already tender and if the pot was not watched would burn, the peas, all types so sweet and good. I thought folks did it for fun and the enjoyment.
I never found the one on above topic, looked for the one on the underground railroad at the time shown, it was the one on Black Memorabilia instead, must say I sat through it, enjoyed it, shocked myself.
Keep bringing up subjects for folks like me, still getting my lessons and learning to check it out, not by the title but seeing what is going on. Thanks for your post. Peace. Barbara
