Re: Misinformed or Misled ?
In Response To: Misinformed or Misled ? ()
Richard, you said "..........as to Spivey although you don't agree, since i think you are African American, you cannot be a racist,as you have no power to elevate your race(ours) to the supeme position but you could (i am not saying you are)be a bigot and a very prejudiced person. More than my saying i don't think Spivey is a racists, or a bigot or prejudiced; let me say i do believe Spivey is misinformed or misled." Actually, Richard I am very well informed. As to being misled, I can make the same claim about anyone who does not agree with my point of view, don't you think? I choose not to. Nothing to be learned that way. Now, I strongly disagree with your statement that I could not be a racist because I "have no power to elevate [my] race(ours) to the supeme position.........." That is not what defines a racist, in my opinion. To define a racist within those narrow terms would be to exclude a large percentage of members of race-based hate groups from being racists. The average member of these race-based hate groups has no more power than I to elevate their race to the supreme position. P.S. I am a Black American, born and bred here in America and I am proud to be an American. Messages In This Thread
