All I can say is WOW! Thanks for reminding me/us about this powerful string of messages. I wish we would have more of these. I become so frustrated because black people forget or don't want to write down their thoughts. But then they are full of anguish because their ancestor left no letter or paper about their feelings or their lives.

I still rail at our people for not writing about 9/11. How could you not? The most cataclysmic event in our country? A savage act of war? Or voting for our first black President of the United States? Will our descendents wonder as we do?
