[GA] Isabelle/a Oxford & Charles Coggins
Isabelle/a Oxford is my 2nd great maternal aunt and I've been stuck in a brick wall about her and her family for a while now. But more with her parents Wade Oxford & Harriet Jones-Freeman. Out of Wade & Harriet's children most information is related to Isabelle/a and her sister Nicie Oxford I've found. The rest of the siblings to these sister's have eluded me. This family lived in the Pike County, Ga areas like Hollonville & Williamson.
Children of Wade & Harriet are: General B. Oxford, Thomas Oxford, Arcy Oxford, Bailey Oxford, Estella Oxford, Sarah Oxford, Staple Oxford and Anthony Oxford. At the 1900 census the family seems to have experienced a name change for one reason or another. With Wade Oxford going from Wade Crowell to the Oxford last name. Why was that? Then I can't find where there buried at, nor find the place where they died.
Wade Oxford married his 2nd wife a Emma Pope and they had a son Douglas Oxford.
Isabell/a Oxford married a Charles Coggins. They had the following children: Floyd L Coggins, Mary H Coggins, Sandy W Coggins, Joseph Coggins, Lewis Coggins, Estella Coggins, Mattie Coggins, Carrie Coggins, Gladys Coggins, Tommie Lee Coggins and Sarah Coggins.
Nicie Oxford married Sanford Coggins. Nothing else known about her nor her husband.
So any information on this family is appreciated. Hope to learn more about where & how they lived, when they died? And connect with those that are living.
