I use HQ quite a bit for two reasons. One, I gave up my Ancestry subscription more than a year ago so HQ is my gateway to the census from my home. I combine it with trips to the public library (5 minutes away) to use Ancestry and get the 1930 census.

Secondly, I find PERSI, the digitized books which include many county histories, and the Freedman's Bank records very helpful especially when I am doing research on communities.

I am sure that many people do not take full advantage of the tremendous power of HQ.
