This is the Admixture, or Biogeographical test which uses autosomal DNA which has been inherited from ALL of your ancestors in varying amounts, even between siblings. This is what makes you look like you rather than your brother or sister, unless you are an identical twin, triplet, etc.
Howver, it does have shortcomings. Depending on how many generations back in your ancestry the full Native American heritage is, the percentage that you have may be too small to show up in the test. And it will not tell you where the NA ancestry comes from, not even which side of your family.
None of this negates the fact that you HAVE the heritage, you just may not be able to get DNA test results that reflect it.
