Re: Beaver Cemetery Wood County Texas

Niki,
I was cruising the web when I saw your post about Beaver Cemetery. I contacted Mark Reid about two years ago about this cemtery because I believed I had relatives buried there. My grandfather's family is from Wood County. His name was Booker T. Hollins, but in Texas it was Holland. His mother's maiden name was Francis Prince and her mother's name was Ann Beavers. Ann Beavers father's name was Jacob Beavers and Fannie Beavers. I know that Ann Beavers was married first to a Prince. I think it was Henderson Prince or something along that line. Her second husband was a james Palmer, wherewith she had more children, one who was a Samantha Palmer who married Waverly J. Holland. This is where it gets kindy strange. My grandfather, Booker T., father was Waverly J Holland. Francis and Samantha are half-sisters because their mother was Ann Beavers. So samthea's children, if Waverly Holland is my grandfather's father, are his cousins and brother and sisters. I also don't know where Francis is buried. At the time of her death, I think her last name was Wilson. I have so many questions like if you know anything about Jacob and Fannie Beavers and how are the Beavers connected to the Jobes in Wood county. I hope you get this message.

Waiting for your response,

Brita Pruitt
