Here's some more advice. I have been up against a block wall for some time now but I'm not giving up. The essential thing in genealogy is to start with yourself. If your parents are still alive make sure that you interview them carefully and thoroughly. Talk to close relatives in order to get a good pictue of your family. I know that sometimes relatives don't want to talk about family, but maybe with a little gentle prodding you can get some little thing from one of them that will help. Don't ALWAYS rely on the internet. Do your own research. You'll need to go to or write county and state offices. Go to the differnt centers that the Church of the Latter Day Saints have. A Church Stake is probably in or near your community. The main thing is not to give up your answers may be right around the corner.
