Well Stella I have to add my two cents also---
Don't give up, just regroup. Go from what you know
to what you don't know. I tried the other way and had no success. I thought I could jump in and all the pieces would fit. I just knew my greatgrand parents never left the farm. they just farmed and fished! HA! I have found out that she was a midwife (unknown to me!) and that they lived in
Washington,D.C. for awhile where she was a nurse.
Now this was someone I knew well (I thought) for the first eleven years of my life. Midwife? Nurse?
I thought chickens were her speciality. My point-
explore what you know and who you know. The past will come in due time!!
Also- you can count me as a sister friend if you just need to talk. I remember that you said earlier that you are an only child. Me too!
Stay with us at Afrigeneas , we will help you and be here for you to vent. I going to look for Prathers as I scan stuff. I'll let you know. And do what Richard suggested. I posted stuff on my search all over the place and people have written me twice with family census clues I would not have found on my own. Don't worry "we got your back".
Always Praying for Peace
