The following was taken from The Tennessee Genealogical
Magazine "Ansearchin'" News - Fall & Winter 1980-Volume 27 -
Number 3 & 4

FRANKLIN COUNTY, TENNESSEE WILL BOOK 1808-1847
Abstracted from microfilm by Betsy F. West

These wills have been copied from the original book into a
new volume at some date later than the originals. Errors may
have crept in, particularly in spelling. Moreover, the
copyist makes all letters w, m, n, I, l and r look alike in
a series of scallops. Researchers will be wise to look at
the original of any possible variation. The number preceding
the name of the testator is the page number of the will
book.

8 - ANDREW WOODS:
... To wife HANNAH Woods, plantation, three Negroes SIMON,
SALL & FRANS…at her decease to my nephew ANDREW WOODS, my
brother PETER WOODS' son…ALEXANDER REID, my brother-in-law,
one fifth part which is to be equally divided between his
children, and the balance equally to be divided amongst my
brothers ADAM WOODS, ARCHIBALD WOODS, JOHN WOODS & PETER
WOODS.

 Executors, wife HANNAH and her brother PETER.
 19 Mar 1810.
Witnesses: W.M. QUESBENBERRY, GARLAND MILLER, JAMES KELLEY.

26 - JOHN WOODS:
... Wife ABIGAIL land, Negro man JEFREY, his wife SILLER
(SALLUS?) and their son RICHMOND
… two son-in-law, CHARLES DUNCAN and JAMES MCCONN and their
wives MARY DUNCAN and SUSANNAH MCCONN and their children
have been given land and Negroes.
... My three Negroes AARON, JEFREY MIDLE(?) and CADWICK be
divided between my son JAMES WOODS and son-in-law WILLIAM
EVANS and their heirs and WILLIAM HAZELRIDGE and REBECCA
HAZELRIDGE and their heirs
… WILLIAM EVANS who married my daughter SARY, now deceased.

 Witnesses: PETER WOODS, JOHNATHAN ESTILL.
 No executor named.
