West These wills have been copied from the original book into a new volume at some date later than the originals. Errors may have crept in, particularly in spelling. Moreover, the copyist makes all letters w, m, n, I, l and r look alike in a series of scallops. Researchers will be wise to look at the original of any possible variation.
